At first glance, this article seems to be about what happens downstream after everything flows into the Gulf of Mexico. But read beyond the first couple of paragraphs. It is an excellent summary of the problems with CAFO’s and what's happening upstream in places like Iowa and even South Dakota.

And it's not just those downstream who are having problems.
